Notes
Shark cutter Bodil is a typical Danish built fishing boat, they were built around from 1885 to up to 1950. The shark cutters are characterized by, a slim hull line, with deep keel and a large sail guidance, this made them come out quickly to their fishing grounds Atlantic and North Sea.
The shark cutters are also known for a strong oak frame construction as well as strong oak cladding.
Bodil was sailed under the German flag in 1988 and has always been maintained by professional shipyards in northern Germany and Denmark, 2017/18 the 100m planks and bow were replaced, so that today it is in a very fine and good condition.
This boat should be experienced.
